The Pridiom AMS180HR 18,000 BTU 13 SEER mini split air conditioner is a great solution when ductwork is not feasible or desirable in your home. It can be also used commercially -- in schools, perimeter cooking for office buildings, additional cooling for restaurant kitchens and to cool smaller areas within larger spaces such as arenas, warehouses and auditoriums. Split air conditioners are so useful because they combine the flexibility of a conventional room air conditioner with the whole-house cooling potential of central air conditioning systems. The AMS180HR mini split air conditioner comes with an indoor unit, and outdoor unit and an installation kit. Built-In Heat Pump The Pridiom AMS180HR mini split air conditioner features a built-in heat pump that allows it to operate as a heater during the colder months. Environmentally Friendly The AMS180HR ductless mini split AC incorporates environmentally friendly R410a refrigerant into its heating and cooling solutions. Conserves Energy This split air conditioner only cools one room instead of your whole home and also features a timer function to conserve energy. Operates Quietly The compressor is located outside and the indoor unit's fan runs at a low speed which means operation is quiet. Dehumidification Capabilities The AMS180HR can remove up to 2.99 pints of moisture from the air every hour in addition to its cooling and heating capabilities.
